Watford FC News RSS

Being an (emerging) Watford FC fan, I've been finding it a little frustrating that their official site doesn't have an RSS feed.

So I wrote one. I've stuck it through feedburner.

Nice idea! Given that most club sites are run by the same company (Premium TV?) and use the same design, would you be able to advise other fans how to set up similar feeds for their clubs?

I could advise (it was a bit of screen-scraping), but I've decided that I'll probably just do the others myself. I'm guessing Sheffield United would be a good one to do next...

That would be an excellent choice - thanks!

OK, done. Sheffield United is here:

You're welcome. I've done Blackburn and Bolton too now. I started on Reading, but there's a little more tweaking to do on that one.

It would be great if you could offer a guide as to how you did it, i'd love to get a collection of rss feeds for all the championship sides.

I'd happily do it myself if you could point me in the right direction, i'm not exactly new to this sort of thing :)

Our hero Heidar Helgusons is in the thick of things again. Been a brilliant weekend. Not been to a game for about two years as I live in Scotland but me and two mates traveled down and thankfully were not disappointed (far from it). A 3-0 win against Scunthorp is no easy task but we made it look easy at times at Vicarage road. I could name 5 or 6 players who played out of there skin. The after party was even better. Stayed at one of the Village hotels in elstree. How we managed to find our way back to the hotel I have no idea. Hopefully be back down for a game after new-year.

Be nice if you used the date in the title to generate an appropriate tag.
